I am so happy you are here! My name is Katrina and I am the founder/CEO of Derby Clothing Company. With help of my amazing family, DCC is ran out of our farm in Drayton Valley, Alberta.
In the show jumping world, I show as an adult amateur in low level jumpers with my ever-changing string of OTTBs. Previously, I rode a lot of western and tried a variety of disciplines including, but not limited to barrel racing, all-around performance, and cowboy dressage.
In 2017, I adopted a lovely thoroughbred prospect from New Stride named Little Brown Derby. Our debut was my first time showing as an adult and with limited show experience prior, I was able to build my confidence at a variety of different venues.
At this time, I was struggling to find riding apparel that fit properly, within my budget, and were high quality made to last. Throughout 2019, I tested a variety of fabrics, designs, and features before deciding on the best route to offer an affordable option while still delivering high quality.
Quality will always be my main priority. I hope to change the shopping experience of many equestrians that faced the same challenges as me by offering a wide range of sizes and styles to make every rider feel their absolute best. Each style range aims to meet the need of different riders, from my loyal pony clubbers, lesson string and backyard riders, all the way up to FEI.
